Medical Coordinator
John Luck is a travel writer, photographer, and a long time National Registry Emergency Medical Technician. He had participated in over 10 Antarctic expeditions and has worked with wilderness search and rescue teams as a field medic. A fascination with historic travel has led to him being the lead EMT with veterans groups exploring battlefields in Vietnam and the Marianas Islands of the Pacific. Kayaking, mountain-biking, hiking the Appalachian Trail, and trying, with limited success, to keep his vintage motorcycles running, take up his free time. John is also an EMT instructor, teaches at the Center for Wilderness Safety, and has contributed wilderness first-aid articles to a number of outdoor adventure and travel publications.
